Color Run for Domestic Violence

The Color Run™ 5k event is October 25. Freeman Lake Park, Elizabethtown. SpringHaven Domestic Violence Program will be receiving the proceeds from this event. Participants in the race are doused with different colored powders at each kilometer and are encouraged to wear white. A “Color Festival” is held at the end of the race where runners gather and toss the colored powder to celebrate their finish. Come out to cheer on the runners and support Springhaven.

The juried art show benefits the YMCA and Arts Associations of Oldham County.  At the Oldham Family YMCA indoor arena.  Preview Party is Friday October 24, 6 – 9:30 p.m., featuring Joe DeBow, appetizers,dinner and auction, plus silent auction.  Bill Samuels of Makers Mark fame will also be presented with the Oldham Award of Excellence. No Kill Saving Pets Challenge

No Kill Louisville & Waky are excited to let you know that they're part of the Saving Pets Challenge, a fundraising campaign launched by Michelson Found Animals. They will be donating $100,000 to organizations focused on reducing shelter euthanasia in our communities. Should No Kill Lou. raise the most $, they will get a $50,000 donation. 2nd place gets $20,000, and 3rd gets $10,000.  To donate or help in any way,  please Click Here.
