Wednesday night, April 15th, the stars were at their brightest at the Historic Brown Theater in Louisville.  That’s the night MOTOWN MAGIC struck, as the Mighty Temptations hit the stage.  The theater was electrified with the dynamic stage show put on by, undoubtedly the hardest working act in show-biz.  Otis Williams and the Temptations had the crowd in the palm of their hands and on their feet rockin’ through out the evening.  I’ve seen the Temptations in many forms since their inception in the 60’s, and I have to say, they are as good now as when they first took the stage.  Memories of Eddie Kendricks and David Ruffin were brought to life by the soulful leads of Bruce Williamson, their stylish look and slick choreography, as well as their great vocal depth amazed a crowd of near capacity at the Brown. 

I had a chance to not only speak to members of the group, but also witnessed the humility these great entertainers showed to the fans that have supported them through-out the years.  The show was amazing, and the members of the group, inspiring.   The Temptations have had many personnel changes during their amazing career, but to quote the founder, and 48 year veteran Otis Williams

“The Temptations still stand today, not in spite of those who left us, but because of them”. 

All I can add to that is ”Temptations Forever” and thanks for the memories.
